Paula did an interview on January 31 with CFWE Radio to promote the community launch of the film.
After one year, 25 interviews, and many hours of editing, here is the final, 18-minute version of the film. There will be a “Director’s Cut” posted on the website in the future, which will feature the one-hour version of the film.
McCauley: A Caring Community – Conversations on Social Housing was launched on January 31, 2017 at Studio 96. Here is the official trailer for McCauley: A Caring Community – Conversations on Social Housing. We’re making final edits to the film and aiming for a December release date.
Brian Mason is the MLA for Edmonton-Highlands-Norwood, as well as the Minister of Infrastructure and Minister of Transportation. He took some time out of his busy schedule to discuss McCauley and issues of social housing in the neighbourhood, and throughout the city.
Most of the interviews and much of the editing of the film’s rough cut have been completed. We’re waiting on a couple of more interviews with some notable Edmonton politicians, and then the rough cut will be complete. More soon – we hope!
